Where I Stand You be the Judge

Well I took that political test on the net. According to this test I score as a libertarian (Closer to the conservative Side) which I think is where most people fall.

They fail to add the questions regarding abortion and gay marriage which I think are pretty important.

On the abortion front I think that partial birth abortion in any case should be illegal. I don't think women should be allowed to have multiple abortions or use it as a form of birth control. The government should set some limitations. I do believe that if a woman is raped or raped an contracts AIDS she should have the option to terminate the pregnancy.

As far as gay marriage I think not!!

My thoughts on the Iraq war. Yeah we need to be there. I believe this was a strategic move. Now the US occupies an area in the center of the conflict. As long as we are there I think Syria and Iran will keep there cool. I think withdrawing all of the troops would leave Iraq more vulnerable to attack from those surrounding countries and then we would end up deploying more troops there anyway.

Dunkin Donut Actor Dies...

Ok yeah I will admit it I worked there when I was 16, got up at 5:30am on weekends to "make the donuts" I wore the ugly brown donut tree dress. Ahhhh the memories, put on 25 lbs from all of the free donuts and croissants.

I heard the news today the "time to make the donuts" guy died.

From what you say!!! Diabetes how ironic.

I can see my livingroom!!!!

Not much to report on today but I did have something happen that really made me wonder.

Again I remind you that I deliver the paper! Every December we are able to purchase calanders for the subscribers. Well for the first time in 3 years I got 3 of them back which I thought was wierd why didnt they just throw them out if they didn't want them. Maybe this was there way of saying I'm not going to tip you. Well I will say this the tips are real nice but they are not obligated just because I give them a calander. go figure???

More Reasons I Don't Tip My Garbage Man

Today it appears that the garbage men got the better of me. They snuck in like a thief in the night. On a typical Wednesday the recycle truck is here at about 8am well they were late and I was late taking my kid to school because my alley has one inlet/outlet and had to wait for the truck to leave. Also typically the garbage truck arrives at 11am like clockwork for the past 3 years, well today they were hear at 9am, so I am again stuck with a weeks worth of garbage. I'm not one to put the stuff out early. There are quite a few people that will pilfer through the discards and recyclables believe it or not the last time I did put them out early the plastic recyclables were taken out and put in regular bags and the metal was gone. I then proceeded to call the sanitation department there was nothing they could do. Believe it or not what this person did was a crime and I was left with 3 bags of plastic with wonderful post it notes on them. They would not take the stuff. Again I had to take it to the dump.

Only 3 Shopping Days Left

Thank God!!! I only hate this time of year because of the crowds. I usually do my shopping early enough so I don't have to wait and that I get everything I need, but this year money has been tight so I have had to wait until the last minute. I like millions of other people I will be finishing up on Christmas Eve. Since 9/11 I have noticed that a lot of people have stopped taking life for granted. They are less rude and alot more considerate, or is I just me? Which in turn has made this years shopping a hell of a lot easier.

COLD PIZZA, PEPSI & GUNS FOR BREAKFAST

Ths controversy heats up as a dicision is to be made regarding a concealed carry law. When are they going to put this back on a ballot or did I miss it. I voted yes the last time. I really dont think this will create more trouble or crime, if anything it should calm stuff down because the criminals will have to assume that everyone out there can be packing heat. I would probably have at least a 38 under the seat in the car. Maybe a little ankle pistol. I have kids and support the second ammendmant. So dammit Doyle make it a Law.

Page 12 A of today's Milwaukee Journal

and I quote "The senate, which approved and earlier version of the bill by a wide margin, is expected to repeat that performance and back the assembly version. Then is goes to Gov. Jim Doyle", Here comes my favorite part I would like to know who wrote this "who, thank goodness, has promised to veto the measure just as he did to a concealed -carry bill that came his way in 2003"

Damn blue state, I should have moved to Texas when I had the chance.

I gotta make this good so I don't get the penalty box.

Hmmm... The wheels are spinning but the hamster ain't moving. I haven't stuck anybody high, there hasn't been any icing except for the cookies I made this week and I haven't been roughing anyone :)

ooh ooh I got something...

Ripped from the front page of the paper this morning. Everybody has got to love

ok I was going to put the link in there but because of the article I think they may have exceeded the bandwidth for the day LOL.

Does anybody out there have any rants about them. I could list a few places around here that could use lights.

The intersection of springdale and arcadian (Greenfield) If you want to turn coming off of springdale either direction your screwed most of the day 2 lanes you know the drill.

Or we could discuss the reds we blow through because there shouldn't be a light there like the one by the fairpark that usually flashes. Beloit & 56th is another good one you will stop on a red and then is will start flashing out of the blue. Some of the light poles around here must be from like the 40's I guess cuz its "stallis" that's the way it has to be.

Celebrity Stuff

I will admit it I am an avid reader of the hot sheets (US, People, In touch) I buy at least one a week just for bathroom reading material. I am a little sick of the Brad, Jen, Angelina triangle though. What prompted me to write this was I noticed some information on prenumptual agreements. The article stated that some celebrities will actually fine there spouse for various things. One sited a fine for gaining weight the person was to remain at 120lbs or less. Shit if that was me i'd be broke LOL. Another stated that sex was to be in specific positions. Another was to relinquish a large sum for drug and alcohol use and another for infedelity. I guess Britany originally refused to sign one until her mother and manager stepped in. "Like Britany do you really wan K-Fed to get all of your money?" Michael Douglas apparently agreed to give Catherine some dough if he ever cheated. I think these sham hollywood marriages are for publicity. Look at Bennifer1 I think the two of them would have both been bigger washouts if they had married.

The whole article was in yesterdays Milwaukee Journal in the metro section.

Dou You tip your garbage man?

My stepmother asked me if I got an envelope from my garbage man, I said for what? Well we tip them here in waukesha. So I then started to rant about it. I live in west allis and our tax dollars go to some guy in a truck leaving post it notes on our recyclables because they are comingled with bad stuff. They never take anything that isn't in a bag. They are already getting tipped because I am not charging them to pick up all the crap they leave behind and for the times I have to got o the dump.

Ok this has really got me today...

I heard a rumor that Southridge has no Santa. I am a member of a group which I will let remain anonymous. This brings up all back to the whole "happy holidays" Controversy. What the hell now. Does everything have to be politically correct these days. I'm getting sick of the person who has the biggest mouth getting their way. I was watching the Tony Danza show and his guest was Howie Mandel who is Jewish. So Tony put up a menorah, nice touch I respect that make it a potpourri of holidays. If I want to walk up to some one and say merry Christmas dammit im going to do it yes by doing so I am letting them know I am a Christian . They can reply any way they like and I will respect that. That is why the first amendment is so wonderful it give us the freedom to choose.

I wish These guys would have stolen my car...

Last week some time a friend of mine sent me an article about a guys caprice getting stolen. I dont know how many of you actually read the paper but why does all the weird stuff happen here. Anyway this poor guy gets it stolen only to have it returned to him "Pimped".

Read the hysterical article from JSnline

The Missing Finger tip...

I read the article this morning. A cop gets his fingettip bitten off by a cat breeder because of an argument. This woma was fighting with a person who purchased a kitten. The kitten was not using the litterbox so this in turn stirred up controversy. The cop lost a finger tip in the process. I cant get over this one.

Here is the link to the article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Starting fresh...

Ok I should have some material here by the end of today I have yet to read the newspaper this morning. This is bad because I deliverit every morning. Yeah the hours suck but I can stay at home with my son until he starts school full - time. doesn't pay that bad either.
